Jackson Athletic Performance Membership Policy

1. Membership Overview

  • Jackson Athletic Performance (JAP) provides specialised strength and conditioning programming and coaching services. Our membership grants access to personalised training programs, coaching sessions, and performance assessments, but does not include access to the Progress physiotherapy gym facility itself unless the client gains a separate membership for that gym or is booked in for a private/paired session with Jackson Athletic Performance. Facility access is governed by the terms and conditions of the Progress physiotherapy rehab gym membership.

  • Membership tiers: It is a requirement that Progress gym members with JAP be a Tier 2 membership to gain the full benefit of the coaching experience. Tier 1 memberships are available to clients who do not have a Progress gym membership or do not intend to get a progress gym membership.

2. Membership Fees and Payment

  • Payment Structure: Jackson Athletic Performance will have our clients fill out a

  • card on file authorisation form. This data is then securely uploaded onto our

  • square software for debiting. Clients on memberships can opt for weekly or

  • fortnightly recurring debiting.

  • Fees cover access to JAP's programming, semi private coaching and support

  • services only.

  • Payment Methods: We accept payments via credit/debit card. We do not do

  • direct bank transfer.

  • Late Payments: A 10% late fee may apply if payment is not received within 2

  • weeks of the due date. Continued non-payment over a 4 week period may result

  • in suspension of services until the account is settled.

  • Membership Fees: By signing this agreement you hereby agree to the

  • membership costs as follows. Tier 1 members - $37 per week. Tier 2 members -

  • $47 per week.

  • Private Session fees: Regardless of whether performed at the Progress

  • physiotherapy rehab gym or Australind studio gym session fees are as follows.

    • 1 on 1: 45min - $60.

    • 60min - $70.

    • Paired: 45min $40each.

    • 60min $50 each.

  • Adjustments to fees The client understands that fees can be adjusted according to business requirements. In such events JAP will be sure to provide members a minimum of one months’ notice.

3. Facility Access

  • Gym Membership: Access to the gym facility is not included in JAP's membership fees. Members must secure their own gym membership through the facility where JAP operates.

  • Facility Rules: Members must adhere to all rules and regulations of the gym facility. JAP is not responsible for any facility-related issues, including but not

  • limited to access, equipment availability, or facility maintenance.

  • JAP Australind studio gym: Is available to be booked for private 1 on 1 or paired sessions only. Available dates and times may vary as maintenance of our tier 2 members at Progress gym takes priority. By signing this agreement, you herby agree that disruptions to regular session time slots may take place. JAP will endeavour as best as possible to keep morning until midday sessions Mon – Thurs available for our members who wish to receive private coaching in Australind.

4. Private Coaching Sessions

  • Scheduling: Private coaching sessions must be scheduled in advance through written confirmation from either the JAP head coach or your personal coach.

  • Availability is on a first-come, first-served basis. A Verbal agreement does not constitute an official booking.

  • Cancellations and Rescheduling: Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice or failure to attend the scheduled appointment without notice will be subject to paying full price for the session. Exceptions may be made for genuine emergencies or unforeseen circumstances. Please contact us as soon as possible in such cases. Cancellations can be emailed, text or phone call. Substitute Coaches: Refer to section 12.

5. Program Delivery

  • Team Buildr App: All JAP programming is delivered through the Team Buildr app, where members can access their personalised workout plans, track progress, and communicate with their coach.

  • Program Adjustments: Programs may be adjusted based on member progress, feedback, or any injuries/limitations. It is the member’s responsibility to inform their coach of any changes in their physical condition.

6. Membership Cancellation

  • Cancellation Policy: Athlete's programs are written in 4 week training block segments. If a client decides to quit, Jackson Athletic Performance requires that the client pays in full until their current training block is complete and gives 1 full weeks’ notice before their training block ends. If clients are unsure where they currently sit within the training block they can reach out to the JAP head coach to find out. Cancellation must be made in writing to marcus@jacksonathleticperformance.com.au

  • Membership transfers This membership is non-transferrable by you.

7. Conduct and Behaviour

  • Code of Conduct: Members are expected to always conduct themselves in a respectful and professional manner. Any behaviour that disrupts the training environment or violates the gym facility’s policies may result in termination of membership.

  • No Tolerance Policy: We maintain a strict policy against harassment, discrimination, or any form of negative behaviour. Violations may lead to immediate termination of services without refund.

8. Liability and Waivers

  • Injury Waiver: Members must sign a Medical pre-screening acknowledging that strength and conditioning training carries inherent risks. JAP is not liable for injuries sustained during training, whether in-session or while following the program independently.

  • Medical Clearance: Members are encouraged to obtain medical clearance before starting any new exercise program, particularly if they have any pre- existing health conditions.

    9. Communication

  • Member Support: JAP offers support through email, text and the Team Buildr app. We strive to respond to inquiries within 24 hours during business days.

  • Feedback: We welcome and encourage feedback on our services. Members can provide feedback through the Team Buildr app or directly to their coach.

10. Amendments to Policy

  • Policy Changes: JAP reserves the right to amend these membership policies at any time. Members will be notified of any significant changes in advance.

  • Member Agreement: Continued use of JAP’s services constitutes agreement to these policies and any updates made to them.

11. Gym floor Staffed hours (Progress gym facility)

  • Staffed hours: May vary due to unforeseen circumstances or illness as well as overall client and business requirements. We will endeavour to ensure suitable coverage is applied so our coaches are on the floor for a reasonable period of time during peak hours during the week. As of the time of this agreement staffed hours for semi private coaching are as follows:

    • Mon: 3.30pm – 6pm

    • Tues: 3.30 – 6pm

    • Wed: 3.30 – 6pm

    • Thursday: (unstaffed – group field session day)

    • Friday 3.30 – 6pm

  • The gym floor will be unstaffed for semi-private coaching during public holidays.

    12. Personal training

  • Unauthorised sessions: Our personal trainers are either employed by us or work under contract exclusively for JAP. Any sessions conducted outside of the Australind studio gym, Progress facility or unauthorised field sessions must be paid directly to us, and all membership terms and conditions will still apply.

  • Ranking: Our Personal Trainers are internally ranked according to their experience and qualifications, which may result in varying session prices.

  • Substitute coaches: In the event that your Personal Trainer is on leave, no longer with us, or otherwise unavailable, you agree that we may assign another qualified Personal Trainer to continue your sessions.

13. Age requirements

  • Minimum age requirement for membership on a program is 13 years old although we prefer athletes to be 14yo. We understand that for This age group biological readiness may vary and our coaches will determine the suitability for athletes to begin on a training program.

14. Information We Collect

  • Personal Information: This includes your name, contact details, age, health information, fitness goals, and any other personal details provided during consultations or assessments.

  • Training Program Data: This includes details of your personalised training program, progress reports, performance data, and any feedback or notes from your coach.

15. Use of Information

  • Program Development: We use your personal information to create and tailor a training program that meets your specific needs and goals.

  • Communication: We may use your contact details to communicate with you about your program, provide updates, and answer any questions you may have.

  • Internal Improvement: Your anonymised data may be used internally to improve our services and training programs.

16. Confidentiality of Training Programs

  • Personalised Program: Your training program is custom designed for you based on your unique fitness goals, physical condition, and ongoing progress. It is intended for your personal use only. Providing the program to friends and family for their intended use may result in termination of membership.

  • Intellectual Property: The training programs provided by JAP are considered intellectual property and are protected by copyright laws. Unauthorised sharing or distribution of your program is a violation of these laws.

17. Membership hold Policy:

  • Hold Periods: Jackson Athletic Performance members in alignment with progress physiotherapy are offered an on hold period of 1-3 months. This Hold period is subject to significant reasoning such as a long holiday away, debilitating injury, illness or other significant life altering circumstances.

  • Clients can use one hold period per 12 months. As per the cancellation policy

  • Clients will be charged as per 4 week training block programming, in foreseeable circumstances it benefits the client to notify their coach in writing a minimum of one months’ notice of intended hold periods.

  • Eligibility: The client understands that during periods of busyness, competition, isolated injury or rest periods the program is altered to continue to compliment that current phase of the client's life and assist them in being able to return to a comprehensive program again.

  • Notice: Unless the client has suffered an injury or is suddenly severely unwell the on hold period dates must be predetermined to the head coach in writing.
