MARCUS JACKSON
From a young age, he excelled in athletics, particularly in football and track and field, earning numerous accolades. However, his passion for football waned in his late teens due to declining performance and persistent lower back pain caused by improper weightlifting. A decade later, at 26, he decided to return to high-level football, driven by a deeper understanding of hypertrophy training and a renewed dedication to athletic performance.
This journey led him to Melbourne and Perth, where he received specialised coaching in human movement, biomechanics, and sports performance. In his quest to address his lower back pain, he delved into human anatomy, focusing on balance, posture, and biomechanics, which shaped his coaching philosophy. After gaining expertise in nutrition and earning a fitness certification, he founded Jackson Athletic Performance, aiming to make a meaningful impact on aspiring athletes in the South West.
